Letters to the Editor From: Loretta After reading the letter from C@wmconnect.com, I was reminded once again how happy and proud I am to be a Republican. Did you notice the writer of this letter always capitalized the word Democrat, but never the word Republican? Interesting. He really showed his ignorance (as do most Democrats) in the statements he made. In my opinion, the saddest thing about that party is that they wouldn't know the truth if it were written on a 2x4 and smacked them in the head, or is it the way they allow themselves to be led around without a clue by the left wing agenda? The way they can just ignore facts like they don't exist absolutely amazes me. Guns. A topic on which I have very strong opinions. I find it so difficult to believe that when the statistics are out there proving beyond doubt, that states and countries that allow their citizens to carry guns the crime rate goes way down. If I'm a criminal, I'm thinking twice about committing a crime when the intended victim may have a gun. Common sense tells you that. And of course the way you pointed out what happened in England. But hey, unless it fits their agenda, it doesn't matter. I could go on with this guys letter, but I won't. Except to say that when I was reading the paragraph regarding speaking English in America - quite the novel idea I might add, I was saying the same thing you answered him with. Joke? I thought so. But here's what troubled me the most... "misunderestimated?" What the....? Was he trying to be funny? Is that a "Democrat" word? I'm still shaking my head. Anyway, enough of my rant. I love the site! The comic relief is a welcome distraction with everything going on around us. And it drives my Democrat co-workers nuts when I'm sitting at my desk laughing out loud. When they ask "what's so funny?", I just tell them, "you wouldn't understand." Keep up the good work! Loretta Thank you! I agree with everything you said. The Democrats, on general, can dish it out but can't take it. That is kind of sad because they are missing out on a lot of fun. Point in fact, some of the jokes on this site started out as Republican jokes. I like them so much I adapted them into Democrat jokes. Democrats generally would get mad and not laugh at jokes at their expense. While I sometimes don't have time to work on this site, I do intend on keeping up the good work! The Editor
